Indian students can get Gemini AI and other apps free
Got a student ID? It could unlock free or cheaper tools, according to Mint. Students in India can use their ID to access deals from a mix of tech, travel and software brands, including a complimentary subscription to Gemini, Google's artificial intelligence (AI) assistant that can chat, write and answer questions. Other offers span entertainment streaming, flight bookings, design software, gadgets and developer tools. The report lists seven such student offers in total. For many young users, this is an easy way to try premium AI features without paying full price, while also saving money on everyday services like music, software and travel during their college years.
